"Did You Know?"

  
SCMS 8th. grader, Andrew Brown, will compete at the state level of the National Geographic Bee. The State Bee will be held on Friday, April 9th., 2010, at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum. in Abilene.   
Congratulations Andrew!
The e-car team swept the top 4 places at the 2nd leg of the State E-Car race at Great Bend  Wednesday.
Matt Clinton was 4th, Jeff Schwarz 3rd, Marshall Anliker 2nd and Cody Ellis 1st.
Congratulations and good luck at the final race
Saturday, May 1st. at Clearwater.

Congratulations to
Elizabeth Huck and Brenna Beeson 
of Scott Community High School.They competed in the The State Piano festival on 20 February 2010 on the campus of Wichita State University. Both received "I" ratings for their performances.

Way to go ladies!!!

 

 Did you know?
The Colby Orange and Black Tournament officials vote for a coach  who shows sportsmanship and conducts themselves in a professional manner. This years the 'Boys" coach chosen was  the Scott City Beavers Basketball Coach Glenn O'Neil.
Coach O'Neil's name will be added to the trophy.
Congratulations !

"Did You Know" 
Mrs. Norris was awarded the “Southwest Kansas Music Educators Association Outstanding High School Music Teacher” Award this past Saturday at the District KMEA performance in Dodge City. 
Congratulations Mrs. Norris!!
